When do I get the Passing Reward in the Stellar 1-Step Model?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

TL;DR: In the Stellar 1-step model, traders become eligible for a subscription fee refund, also called a Passing Reward, after completing the Challenge Phase and receiving their FundedNext Account. The Passing Reward is paid out with the third payout upon request, also known as a Performance Reward. It typically equals your original challenge fee or reset fee, depending on your journey.

In the Stellar 1-Step Challenge, traders become eligible for a Passing Reward after they:

  1. Successfully pass the Challenge Phase

  2. Receive their FundedNext Account

Once both steps are completed, the Passing Reward can be requested during the third withdrawal. It will be added to your Performance Reward only upon request and approval.

Example – Based on challenge fee:

If a trader purchases a $6,000 Stellar 1-Step Challenge for $65.99, and successfully passes the Challenge:

  • They can request the $65.99 Passing Reward along with their third withdrawal request.

  • This acts as a refund of the initial challenge fee.

Example – Based on Reset Fee:

If the account is reset (not a new purchase), the Passing Reward will be based on the reset fee instead.

For instance, if the reset fee is $59.39, the trader will receive a $59.39 Passing Reward upon passing the Challenge Phase and requesting a Performance Reward.

Note:

  • For Challenge Accounts Purchased Before January 12, 2026

    • Traders with Challenge Accounts purchased before January 12, 2026 will continue to follow the previous structure, where the Passing Reward will be paid out with the first payout upon request in the FundedNext Account.

  • For Challenge Accounts Purchased On or After January 12, 2026

    • If you purchase a new Challenge Account or reset your existing Challenge Account on or after January 12, 2026, the new structure will apply which is Passing Reward will be paid out with the third payout upon request in the FundedNext Account.
