Can I trade Stocks with FundedNext?

TL;DR: FundedNext offers 20 stock CFD symbols, 14 US equities, and 6 European equities across seven sectors, available on every active model and package, on MT4, MT5, cTrader, and Match-Trader. US clients access FundedNext CFDs accounts through Match-Trader only. Global leverage is 1:2 with 0.004% commission per lot on all symbols. Your existing Daily Loss Limit, Maximum Loss Limit, and Consistency rules apply to stock positions exactly as they do to forex, with no separate objectives or payout terms. Free Trial and Competition accounts are not included.

What is a stock CFD?

A stock CFD is a contract that tracks the price of a company's shares. Your profit or loss is the difference between your open and close price, multiplied by your position size.

You do not own the underlying shares. A stock CFD is a derivative position on price movement, not an equity holding, so it does not carry the ownership rights that come with buying shares directly through a retail brokerage account.

Do I need a new account or an upgrade to trade stocks?

No. Stock CFDs are an addition to the existing FundedNext CFDs lineup that already covers forex, indices, commodities, and crypto. If you hold an active FundedNext Challenge account or a FundedNext Account, the symbols are already available in your terminal. Labs accounts are not included. There is no gated rollout, no upgrade tier, no waitlist, and no separate purchase required. Access, leverage, commission, contract size, and pip value are identical whether you bought your account yesterday or years ago.

Stock CFD Symbol List and Trading Conditions

FundedNext offers 20 stock CFD symbols across seven sectors: technology, semiconductors, automotive, consumer, aerospace, entertainment, and health care. Each symbol below is a spot CFD.

Note on SPCX: SpaceX is the newest listing in the set. It priced its initial public offering at $135 per share and raised $75 billion, the largest public offering on record, ahead of its Nasdaq debut on 12 June 2026.

Note on 3x Swap: To account for the weekend, swap is charged three times on a single day each week rather than once . On MT4, MT5, and cTrader, this triple charge falls on Friday. On Match-Trader, it falls on Wednesday. This applies to every symbol in the table above.

What are the global trading conditions for stock CFDs?

Specification

Value

Global leverage

1:2

Pip value

$0.10 per lot

Commission

0.004% per lot

Contract size

1

These conditions apply across all 20 symbols on all FundedNext Challenge Accounts and FundedNext Accounts. FundedNext Labs Accounts are not included. The per-symbol swap rates are shown in the table above. One lot represents one unit of the underlying stock, which is why the contract size is 1: a 10-lot position in AAPL is exposure to 10 units. Spread and swap are separate costs from commission and are worth checking before opening a position.

Which platforms support FundedNext stock CFDs?

Stock CFDs are enabled on every platform FundedNext supports for CFDs:

  • MetaTrader 4 (MT4)

  • MetaTrader 5 (MT5)

  • cTrader

  • Match-Trader

US clients access FundedNext CFDs accounts through Match-Trader only.

Do my Challenge rules change when I trade stocks?

No. Adding stock symbols does not change the Challenge structure. Every rule you already trade under applies to stock CFD positions without modification:

  • Daily Loss Limit applies the same way it applies to forex, indices, commodities, and crypto.

  • Maximum Loss Limit applies without adjustment.

  • Consistency requirements apply without adjustment.

There are no stock-specific exceptions, no separate objectives, and no different thresholds. If you've been trading forex or indices on a FundedNext account, nothing about your Challenge Phase changes; you have 20 more instruments to work with inside the same framework.

Do Performance Reward work differently for stock CFD profits?

No. Stock CFD positions do not change Performance Reward terms, timelines, or eligibility. The 24-hour processing commitment applies to profits earned on stock symbols exactly as it does to every other instrument, and the $1,000 Brand Promise covers eligible delays on the same terms. The audit trail is the same.

How do I calculate profit, margin, swap, and lot size on stock CFDs?

Stock CFDs are quoted per share rather than in pips. Pip value only enters the swap calculation; the others don't need it.

Profit and loss

Formula: (Close Price minus Open Price) x Lot

Example (AAPL): Open at 311.29, close at 316.90, 2 lots. (316.90 minus 311.29) x 2 = $11.22

On a short position, the calculation reverses: subtract the close price from the open price instead.

Margin

Formula: (Entry Price x Contract Size x Lot Size) divided by Leverage

Example (AAPL): Entry price 316.90, contract size 1, 2 lots, leverage 1:2. (316.90 x 1 x 2) divided by 2 = $316.90

At 1:2 leverage, margin is always half the position value. One lot of AAPL at 316.90 requires $158.45.

Swap

Formula: Swap Point x Lot Size x Days Held x (Pip Value divided by 10)

Example (AAPL): A 2-lot position held for 2 nights at a swap point of −7.05. (−7.05 x 2 x 2) x (0.1 divided by 10) = -$0.282

Swap points differ depending on position direction, so a long and a short in the same symbol carry different overnight costs.

3x Swap Day:

  1. MT5, MT4 & cTrader: Friday

  2. Match-Trader: Wednesday

Lot size

Formula: Lot = Risk percentage in dollar value divided by (Close Price minus Open Price)

Example (AAPL): If your risk percentage is 10% of a $5,000 account size, that's a $500 dollar value. $500 divided by (316.90 minus 311.29) = 89.13 lots
