What is the Maximum Loss Limit?

Updated this week

The Maximum Loss Limit sets the maximum amount you can lose in each phase of your trading journey. It is based on your initial balance and resets once you pass the Challenge and receive your FundedNext Account.

Maximum loss Limits of different plans are given below:

For Evaluation, Express, and Stellar 2-Step:

Traders are allowed a maximum loss of 10% of their initial balance, which means for a $100k account, you cannot let your balance fall below $90,000.

For Stellar 1-Step:

Traders are allowed a maximum loss of 6% of their initial balance, meaning for a $100k account trader’s balance cannot drop below $94,000.

For Stellar Lite:

Traders are allowed a maximum loss of 8% of their initial balance. So, for a $100k account, a trader's account cannot fall below $92,000.

If you exceed the Maximum Loss Limit, your account will be breached, and you will not be able to trade further. In such cases, FundedNext offers a Reset Option that allows you to restart your challenge based on the type and phase of your account.
