Requirements to Pass the Challenge Phase
To successfully complete the Stellar 1-Step Challenge Phase and qualify for a FundedNext Account, you must meet all of the following requirements simultaneously:
Requirement | Details |
Profit Target | 10% of initial account balance |

Maximum Loss Limit | Max 6% total. |
Minimum Trading Days | 2 separate calendar days with at least 1 trade per day |
Time Limit | There is no time limit. Take as long as needed. |

Profit Target — 10%

Maximum Loss Limit — 6%
Your account balance or equity must not drop below 94% of the initial balance at any point. If this limit is exceeded, the account is considered violated.
Learn more: What is the Maximum Loss Limit?
Minimum Trading Days — 2 Days
You must place trades on at least 2 separate calendar days, with a minimum of 1 trade per day. The days do not need to be consecutive and there is no maximum number of trades.
Even if you reach the 10% Profit Target on day 1, you cannot proceed to a FundedNext Account until you have traded on at least 2 separate days and fully complied with all challenge rules.

Quick Strike Rule
FundedNext defines Quick Strike trades as positions closed within 30 seconds of opening. The quick strike percentage represents the proportion of total recorded profit derived from trades closed within 30 seconds, evaluated on a per-cycle basis.
After Passing the Challenge — What Happens Next
Once you have met the Profit Target and the minimum trading day requirement, the following process begins automatically at the end of that trading day:
1. Automatic Profit Check The system will automatically verify that you have met the 10% Profit Target and that all trading rules have been followed correctly.
2. Dashboard Pop-up If the profit check passes, a pop-up notification will appear on your FundedNext Dashboard prompting you to Start KYC.
3. Agreement Signing Before the Verification Center unlocks, you will be presented with an agreement form. Enter your full name and address, check the box to agree to the terms, and click Submit. Only after submitting the agreement will the KYC document upload step become available.
4. KYC Document Upload Once the agreement is submitted, the Verification Center unlocks. Submit your valid photo ID and complete the liveness check to proceed.
5. Post-Challenge Risk Review Before your FundedNext Account is issued, the Risk Management Team conducts a standard compliance review of your trading activity. If a violation of the Terms, trading rules, or platform policies is identified, the account may not be processed and the Trading Ethics and Standards Team may reach out for clarification.
KYC Process
FundedNext uses a single, profile-level KYC system. This means you verify once and it applies to every account you own across all models. Once you pass the Challenge Phase and your account pauses for the server reset, a pop-up will appear on your Dashboard prompting you to Start KYC.
How to Complete KYC — Step by Step
1. Start KYC Once eligible, a pop-up appears on your Dashboard. Click Start KYC.
2. Choose Verification Method You will be given the option to scan a QR code or receive a verification link by SMS.
3. Submit Documents Follow the link and submit a valid photo ID along with a liveness check, which is a real-time selfie to confirm your identity.
4. Confirmation You will receive a confirmation that your documents have been received.
5. Review and Approval Review takes approximately 48 hours. Once complete, you will receive a notification confirming your verified status.
Required Documents
Submit a photo of a physical copy of one of the following:
National ID
Passport
Permanent Residence Permit
Driving Licence — accepted only for traders in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada
FundedNext may also request a Proof of Address such as a utility bill or bank statement issued within the last 3 months.
Submission Attempts
Iraq and Nigeria: 5 attempts
All other countries: 3 attempts
If you exhaust all your attempts, contact our support team directly, and they will guide you accordingly.
Important Notes
Simply submitting your documents does not complete the KYC verification process. Your status must be Approved to receive a FundedNext Account.
If you pass a Challenge but do not complete KYC within 30 days, your account can be deactivated. Complete verification promptly after passing.
Once your KYC is approved, your profile personal details such as name and date of birth are locked to match your verified documents. This is why the Edit Profile button appears greyed out on a verified account.
Note on 90-Day KYC Renewal: The mandatory 90-day KYC renewal process has been temporarily paused. Traders are not required to resubmit their KYC documents at this time, and your approved KYC verification will remain valid until further notice. We will notify all traders in advance before the renewal process is reinstated. Once your KYC is approved, if resubmission is required for your next eligibility, our team will reach out to you directly with further instructions.
